Updated 2022-07-04

This year’s MIID Students’ Saturday 2022, creatively named 20Empat.9, has concluded recently. The event organised by the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers is an annual congregation of interior design students from various universities and colleges in Malaysia to compete in multiple design competitions and network with peers. Following the theme of “Narrative”, two of our talented students from the School of Interior Design conveyed their stories through creative explorations and emerged as winners. Avern Chan Mun Hou’s “Solace within Indigenous” won 2nd Prize in the Institutional Design Category and “Vibrancy in Coalescence of Functionality” received 3rd Prize in the Hospitality Design Category, while Yap Honn Whey bagged 2nd Prize in the Hospitality Design Category with “Threads of Life”. Congratulations to both and keep up the great work!
